About CLOGHERHEAD FISHERMEN'S CO-OP
Clogherhead Co-op is a leading seafood processing company located on the East Coast of Ireland in Co. Louth. The company was established in 1999 by a group of enterprising second-generation fishermen and has since grown tremendously, now operating a fleet of twelve modern fishing trawlers supported by highly skilled manpower.
The Co-op specializes in prawns, both frozen and fresh, with the remaining portion of its offerings comprised of whitefish species, including monkfish, cod, and hake. The newly installed "frozen at sea" equipment on seven of the vessels allows for new possibilities that are not affected by the logistics of fresh produce.
With its focus on the seafood industry, Clogherhead Co-op has established itself as a key player in the Irish market. Their dedication to quality and innovation has made it a trusted name in the seafood processing industry.
