
Fresh Produce Processing Software
The Emydex Processing Software was originally designed to handle the complexities of meat processing that is a disassembly production process involving dual units of measure, variable weighted products, as well as a requirement to interface to factory floor machinery such as scales, label printers and industrial machinery.
Despite being designed for meat processing, Emydex is also ideally suited to the fresh produce processing industries such as Fresh Produce, Fruit and Vegetables to handle intake, yield reporting and packing and processing.
Similar to Meat, Fish and Food products, Fresh Fruit and Vegetables are perishable products with a short shelf life. They are also inconsistent in their form and can be sold as either fixed or variable weight finished goods, whether in bulk, bags, packs, boxes or pallets.
So whether its fruit or vegetables such as strawberries, mushrooms, broccoli, potatoes or carrots, the Emydex software platform has been designed to capture production data from factory door to door, delivering customers real-time accurate reporting on production, stocks, quality and traceability.

Intake
The Emydex software allows customers to intake their raw product into the processing facility capturing the required traceability. This can then be stored until it is ready to be processed with Emydex maintaining the inventory levels of the raw material.
Processing Jobs
From cleaning, peeling, dicing the Emydex processing software is able to maintain traceability as well as capturing yields for each process within the system. With the ability to integrate to vision and x-ray systems, Emydex is able to report on defect rates, throughput efficiency etc.
Packing & Processing
The Emydex packing and processing module allows customers to manage all aspects of their packing process which includes the ability to execute pack/case/pallet labelling, pack to sales orders or direct to stock. Emydex is also able to integrate to Automatic weigh price labelling (WPL) machines to control master data, batch runs and machine statistics which allows for real-time reporting within the Emydex application.
